I choose to write this post right from the bottom of my heart. I have the right and privilege as I am also an employee right now. Echoes of work from home, pay cuts, long leaves, and job losses are in each nook and corner of every industry.
Let me express my deep respect and gratitude to every employer guarding every employee and trying your level best to 'hold the burning coal'
When bills start popping up from groceries to your Netflix subscriptions old man's philosophy won't solve your problems. It's not your fault, everything became difficult in no time after the rise of the pandemic. We can't run away from real problems. You may lose your job.
Get your pay cut.
May al wrong things can happen to you. Enough, Let me ask you.
What are the lessons we should be learning right now ?
Let me list out what i learned.
SAVE MONEY FOR EMERGENCY FOR ATLEAST 6 MONTHS
SHARPEN YOUR SAW - KEEP WORKING ON SKILLS WHICH HELP YOU KEEP AND LAND A JOB
KEEP WORKING ON YOUR ' SOMEDAY I WILL' DREAM, THIS IS THE TIME WHEN THEY ARE PUSHING YOU FROM THE CLIFF BECAUSE YOU WERE STAYING AT THE TOP BEING SCARED FOR MORE THAN A DECADE.
USE THIS LOCK DOWN TIME TO CONNECT WITH YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY
LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST, WORK ON YOUR MINDSET AND BELIEVE IN YOURSELF AND THE INFINITE POWER WHO CHALLENGES US EVERY TIME TO PREPARE US TO BECOME THE BEST VERSION OF OURS.
I don't care how many times I get a hit on my head.
But I care how many times I got it and I never learned something.
I am thankful for this insight.
I am working on it.
Hope it can help you too to think again and act better.
THIS IS NOT THE END.
IT'S JUST AN OPPORTUNITY TO START ALL OVER...
Thanks, Almighty and all good people who stood beside me in these difficult times.
